Shredder 1984’s Unexpected Threat radiates danger and dramatic tension as it evolves. The track starts as a towering synth creates dramatic tension, oscillating with ragged edges. A piercingly bright synth trembles with threatening, lurking energy above the pounding kick drum and tumbling synth. A computerized-sounding, juddering synth vibrates with haunting emotion before the drums and bass explode into a ferocious attack.
The shuddering synth creates sensations of approaching, deadly danger as the battering low end charges. Raging strength erupts from the feral, leaping synth as an elevated sound cries out, creating fearful sensations. A synth twists with insistent dynamism as the colossal low end slams with tsunami-like force and tensely wound notes wriggle above it.
A fluting synth calls out with worry. The madly leaping melody imbues me with a sense of terror and approaching doom. A resonating, slashing synth moves as the digital-sounding notes tumble and a tightly writhing synth rises, fear permeating it.
Elevated notes scream again, adding to the feeling of something very bad coming near, as string-like notes cascade to increase the intensity. The drums continue to jump as the bass surges and the main melody combines massive threat with a sense of demonic power as it rockets on.
